- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Village Grocery is a great little convenience store in the heart of the Town of Waitsfield. They've got a great selection of packaged groceries, homemade soups and chili, and a full deli (albeit with limited operating hours). I snagged a medium-sized bowl of hearty chili for about $3 and it was a very generous portion. Considering I was up here for a ski weekend, I'd have probably paid about $7-$8 for that same bowl on the mountain.
